MM Packaging acquires packaging plant in Turkey
According to strategy, MM Packaging continues expansion in dynamic markets and acquired a 60 % shareholding in the Turkish folding carton producer Superpack, located in Izmir.
By the acquisition of the well established folding carton company Superpack MMP now enters also the dynamic Turkish packaging market for fast moving consumer goods.
Superpack currently employs approximately 120 people and converts more than 8.000 tons of cartonboard per annum on two offset printing lines.
For already three years MM Packaging has been operating a production site in Izmir supplying packaging for the growing Turkish market of the multinational tobacco industry.
