Mayr-Melnhof Packaging is currently looking for a committed and experienced
Constructional Designer (m/f)
for our plant in Deeside, UK
Area of Activity:
- Contribution of constructional design ideas in order to support the MMP UK Sales team
- Development of samples within agreed timescales for customers
- Support Function for the Key Account Managers
- Cooperation with MMP Colleagues both in the UK and internationally to ensure the sharing of constructional design ideas and CAD drawings
- Development and preparation of printed mock-ups of new constructional designs for product presentations
Personal Requirements:
- Extensive structural packaging design experience within a manufacturing environment preferably in the packaging industry
- Ability to develop and implement new ideas, proactive approach to problem solving
- Flexibility and ability to organise and prioritise work to meet targets
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of self motivation
- Intermediate level (minimum) of Impact CAD desirable
- Knowledge of Adobe packages preferred (Photoshop and Illustrator)
- GCSE in English and Mathematics or equivalent
- Intermediate computer Literacy (Microsoft packages – Excel, Word, Outlook)
